Tarong Power Station

Tarong Power Station, 180 kilometres north-west of Brisbane, is one of Queensland's largest power stations.
Following construction of a number of dams by the power station stakeholder during the power station expansion, including the major Ash Disposal Dam and smaller dams for cooling water supply, stormwater control, Kenny Constructions were contracted by York civil to FRP - shotcreting to weirs and energy dissipation structures in terms of providing overflow / runoff for potential flood events at the power station.
