Eastern Busway

October 2009 to August 2011

The Leighton Contractors, Sinclair Knight Merz & Maunsell AECOM and Queensland Transport alliance project consists of 1.05 km two-way single carriageway busway, sections of tunnel and elevated structures all constructed through heavily built-up urban areas. The busway when complete will connect the existing South East Busway at Buranda to Coorparoo via Stones Corner.
Construction of this section of the Eastern Busway ? Buranda to Main Avenue was completed in August 2011

Scope of works;

? Area 1 - Cut and cover tunnels Super Structure & Tunnel Fit Out Works
? Area 2 - Panitya Street In Situ Culvert Works
? Area 3 - Langlands Station - Substructure & Platform works
? Site wide Stormwater drainage access chambers
