M4 Widening

New elevated roads are being built and the existing M4 Motorway widened to create four lanes in each direction from Parramatta to Homebush. The additional lane and improved access onto the M4 will ease congestion for motorists and fix the significant pinch point at James Ruse Drive. The project is about 7.5km long.

The M4 Widening received planning approval in December 2014 and work started in March 2015
