Scope of Works

Delivery of the permanent structural lining to the 280 m long, 14 m high and 20 m wide underground cavern at Roma Street Station. The scope comprised approximately 6,500 m³ of concrete to pump, place, compact and finish and 2,000 tonnes of reinforcement to fix. The client supplied the main arch lining travelling formwork system and permanent materials, all secondary formwork, including stop-ends, kickers, headwalls, walls, suspended slabs and similar elements, together with craneage, concrete pumping, reinforcement fixing and concrete placement, was supplied and executed by the contractor.
