Kenny Constructions were engaged by the principal contractor to undertake all concrete structure works for the intercity platforms and the north-south concourse at Central Station. The project is being constructed using a 'top down' construction methodology and involves excavation down to the new metro tunnels 27m below ground-level. After the removal of platforms 13, 14 and 15 at the beginning of the project, our team built the new intercity platforms which are being used as a traffic deck during the construction of the permanent structure
