Scope of Works

Kenny constructions was engaged to deliver both the Clyde Dive structure from the future stabling and Maintenance facility and the permanent lining works in the cavern below. The dive structure was made up of two large retaining walls on either side with a seperation wall down the middle to distinguish between the arrival and departure side and finally two ring beams before the tunnels enter the underground.The permanent lining of the caverns was made up of 3 sections per cavern that reduced in size to allow for the future installation of split tracks for the trains to leave and re enter the main line.

Eastern Tunnelling Package
Kenny Constructions was engaged to deliver the permanent lining works for the new Hunter Street Station, including construction of a new pedestrian access tunnel between Hunter Street and Martin Place

Kenny Construction successfully delivered the tunnel lining works for Five Dock Station, including cavern walls, arch lings and headwalls. Works consisted of large invert slabs, intricate crown reinforcement and hydraulic
Cross River Rail, Wolloongabba
Delivered the permanent structural cavern lining at Woolloongabba Station for Cross River Rail (~$9m), covering twin underground caverns (90 m north, 106 m south) separated by a central shaft.
Western Tunnelling Package
Kenny Constructions have been engaged to complete the mined tunnel lining works at Westmead Station as a part of the Sydney Metro West project. Package includes FRP lining of the Cross Over Cavern
Cross River Rail
Delivery of the permanent structural lining to the 280 m long, 14 m high and 20 m wide underground cavern at Roma Street Station. The scope comprised approximately 6,500 m3 of concrete to pump
