Kenny Constructions delivered FRP works for multiple Bridge and Culvert structures on the M12 West project, including installation of 6700 m2 of formwork, 1800 t of reinforcement, placement of 8200 m3 of concrete and installation of over 450 precast elements weighing up to 63t. The scope included construction of Bridges 1, 2 and 5 as well MS01, MS02, MS05 Culverts.

The scope included construction of various challenging and architectural reinforced concrete elements including parallelogram shaped piers on Bridge 1, headstocks with radius ends on Bridges 2 and 5 and abutment wingwalls with F type barrier profiles. Delivery of these works required significant temporary works engineering and fabrication of bespoke formwork shutters.

Kenny Constructions completed the scope to stringent B80 and TFNSW quality requirements despite managing challenging timelines, continually evolving site access and staging conditions. The team’s thorough planning and resilient workforce ensured safe and reliable delivery of a technically complex scope of works.
