Scope of Works

Multidisciplinary works package including eight span viaduct, road traffic bridges and modification of existing bridge structures through alterations and enhancements. Full FRP package for five bridge structures and multiple retaining walls. This included strengthening works of existing bridge structures, precast and bridge girder installation. The work scope also included requirements for cranage and logistical support as well as temporary work design.


Overview

The Warringah Freeway Upgrade transforms 4 km of motorway to improve traffic flow, safety, and active transport, integrating with future links like the Western Harbour Tunnel. Works include bridge replacements, new and modified ramps, underpasses, and shared user crossings, delivered within a live traffic corridor using staged construction and temporary works to maintain access to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and nearby interchanges.


Outcome

Kenny Constructions completed scheduled works on time and without delay to the client. Communication, transparency and teamwork ensured program deadlines were met, health and safety maintained. Logistical support from the team ensured time sensitive critical works were completed successfully. In house temporary works team delivered bespoke formwork and access solutions ensuring live traffic corridors were not effected throughout the works.
