Scope of Works

Kenny Constructions have been engaged to complete the mined tunnel lining works at Westmead Station as a part of the Sydney Metro West project. Package includes FRP lining of the Cross Over Cavern, Station Cavern, Nozzles and Stub tunnels as well as construction of headwalls, deflection walls and plenum slabs. Several bespoke formwork systems, including a hydraulically controlled Euroform system have been used to complete the tunnel lining works. The team used innovative construction techniques including a sacrificial invert formwork system and prefabricated invert and wall reinforcement cages to optimise program and increase efficiency on site

Kenny constructions was engaged to deliver both the Clyde Dive structure from the future stabling and Maintenance facility and the permanent lining works in the cavern below.

Delivered the permanent structural cavern lining at Woolloongabba Station for Cross River Rail (~$9m), covering twin underground caverns (90 m north, 106 m south) separated by a central shaft.
Cross River Rail
Delivery of the permanent structural lining to the 280 m long, 14 m high and 20 m wide underground cavern at Roma Street Station. The scope comprised approximately 6,500 m3 of concrete to pump
