Scope of Works

Kenny Constructions were engaged to construct the permanent lining in Martin Place station with included the construction of invert bases and concrete to the arch lining caverns. Each cavern is 15-meters high by nine meters wide, making the work complex and high-risk. Travel forms were used to construct the main cavern and Doka frames utilised to construct the adits and cross passages.

The scope included construction of various challenging and architectural reinforced concrete elements including parallelogram shaped piers on Bridge 1, headstocks with radius ends on Bridges 2 and 5
President Avenue Pedestrian Bridge , M6 Stage 1
Due to the bridges location adjacent to a live traffic corridor, detailed staging and planning were essential. The works were delivered through multiple traffic shutdowns and weekend work periods
